Steven Simpson, 48, of Fulton, MO

On March 17, 2022, at 12:25 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies, following-up on an ongoing drug investigation in the Fulton area, arrested Steven Simpson, 48, of Fulton, MO reference a United States federal warrant for Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.  Simpson was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to federal custody.

 

Kody Haslag, 26, of New Bloomfield, MO

On March 17, 2022, at 11:31 AM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the State Road MM area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies arrested Kody Haslag, 26, of New Bloomfield, MO reference a Cole County warrant for Felony Stalking.  Haslag was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to the Cole County Jail.

 

Kirk Buffington, 37, of Fulton, MO

On March 17, 2022, at 1:04 AM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the Fulton area.  During the course of the investigation, deputies arrested Kirk Buffington, 37, of Fulton, MO reference a United States federal warrant for Possession of Child Pornography.  Buffington was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to federal custody.

 

Dustin Murray, 28, of Mexico, MO

On March 16, 2022, at 5:23 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies attempted to stop Dustin Murray, 28, of Mexico, MO whom was operating a motorcycle on westbound US Highway 54, entering Callaway County.  Murray had earlier fled from a state trooper in Audrain County.  Upon Murray entering Callaway County and the deputy attempting to conduct a stop, Murray again fled.  A 70 mile pursuit, encompassing a 45 minute time span, ensued; traveling US Highway 54, State Road B to Montgomery City, State Highway 19 to New Florence, westbound Interstate 70 (return to Callaway County) to State Road M, and then westbound on Old Highway 40.  Near the State Road DD intersection near the Boone County line, Murray crashed and was taken into custody.  Murray is being held in the Callaway County Jail for Felony Resisting Arrest, in addition to an Audrain County warrant for Felony Resisting Arrest. 

 

Daniel Infield, 31, of Fulton, MO

On March 16, 2022, at 9:00 AM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted a follow-up investigation in the area of State Road HH.  During the course of the investigation, Daniel Infield, 31, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Stealing.  Infield was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and remains in-custody pending bond post.

 

Johnathon Lewis, 29, of Blue Springs, MO

On March 15, 2022, at 7:50 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy was proactively patrolling the Kingdom City area.  During the patrol, the deputy attempted to stop Johnathon Lewis, 29, of Blue Springs, MO for a traffic violation.  Lewis fled from the deputy, traveling eastbound Interstate 70 in excess of 125 miles per hour.  Lewis subsequently eluded deputy, however was then located and arrested by a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper in Montgomery County.  Lewis was transported to the Callaway County Jail and later posted bond.

 

Chance Williams, 28, of Fulton, MO

On March 11, 2022, at 12:41 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies investigated a disturbance involving weapons in the area of County Road 207.  During the course of the investigation, deputies arrested Chance Williams, 28, of Fulton, MO for felony offenses of Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  Williams was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later posted bond.

 

Elizabeth Smith, 20, of Fulton, MO

On March 9, 2022, at 2:43 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy was proactively patrolling the Fulton area.  During the patrol, the deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  A vehicle passenger; Elizabeth Smith, 20, of Fulton, MO was subsequently arrested for Callaway County felony warrants for probation violations (original felony drug and weapon charges).  Smith was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and remains in-custody pending bond post.

 

Levi Land, 25, of Holts Summit, MO

On March 5, 2022, at 3:50 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy followed-up on a stealing investigation in the Tebbetts area.  As a result; Levi Land, 25, of Holts Summit, MO was arrested for Stealing, booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail, and later released with summons for Court appearance.  The Holts Summit Police Department assisted with the follow-up investigation.

 

Luke Jerozal, 37, of Russellville, MO

On March 3, 2022, at 1:45 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Luke Jerozal, 37, of Russellville, MO for felony offenses of Burglary and Stealing.  The arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation concerning the burglary of two business properties located in the New Bloomfield and Holts Summit area.  Jerozal was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later posted bond.  The Cole County Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation.

 

William Salmons, 36, of Mokane, MO

On March 1, 2022, at 2:33 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy was proactively patrolling the State Road NN area.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy stopped William Salmons, 36, of Mokane, MO for a traffic violation.  Felony level controlled substances were located.  Salmons was arrested, booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail, and later released with summons for Court appearance. 

Taylor Newman, 24, of Fulton, MO

On February 28, 2022, at 3:48 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies investigated a disturbance involving weapons in the State Road NN area.  During the course of the investigation, Taylor Newman, 24, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Felony Unlawful Use of a Weapon.  Newman was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to another facility.

 

Robert Sewell, 40, of Williamsburg, MO

On February 27, 2022, at 5:29 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the State Road D area.  During the course of the investigation, Robert Sewell, 40, of Williamsburg, MO was arrested reference a Callaway County felony warrant for probation violations (original stalking and assault charges).  Sewell remains in-custody at the Callaway County Jail, without bond, per Judge's Order.

 

Justina Valente-Chula, 38, of Columbia, MO

On February 26, 2022, at 10:00 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of State Road WW.  During the course of the investigation; Justina Valente-Chula, 38, of Columbia, MO for Felony Stealing.  Valente-Chula remains in-custody at the Callaway County Jail, without bond, per Judge's Order.  Enedino Suastegui, 37, of Columbia, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine).  Suastegui remains in-custody at the Callaway County Jail pending bond post.

 

Jason Stack, 45, of Fulton, MO

On February 25, 2022, at 3:22 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy conducted an investigation in the Fulton area.  During the course of the investigation, the deputy located and arrested Jason Stack, 45, of Fulton, MO.  Stack was wanted reference a Callaway County felony probation warrant (original vehicle tampering and property damage charges).  Stack was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections.
