THANKSGIVING WEEKEND OPERATIONS RESULT IN ARREST OF TWO OUT-OF-STATE FUGITIVES

On November 25, 2022, at 7:03 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 428 near Steedman.  During the course of the investigation, deputies encountered Patrick Bulter, 37, of Auburn, IL.  Butler was a wanted fugitive in the State of Illinois with numerous felony warrants for charges including Disarming a Police Officer, Resisting, Assault and Tampering.  Butler fled from deputies on foot, leading to CCSO K9 Iro being deployed in pursuit.  Deputies and K9 Iro subsequently captured and took Butler into custody.  The vehicle and camper that Butler possessed were both found to be stolen (truck stolen from Springfield, IL; camper stolen from Jefferson City, MO).  Butler was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and remains in-custody without bond, per Court Order, for both Callaway County and State of Illinois charges.

Shawn Sullivan, 32, Holts Summit, MO

On November 26, 2022, at 9:08 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 4039 near Holts Summit.  During the course of the investigation, deputies encountered Shawn Sullivan, 32, of Holts Summit, MO.  Sullivan subsequently assaulted a Callaway County deputy.  Once being taken into custody, it was determined Sullivan was a wanted fugitive in the State of Texas for evading arrest.  Sullivan was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and remains in-custody without bond, per Court Order, for both Callaway County and State of Texas charges.
