Jeremy Smith, 35, of Auxvasse, MO

On May 31, 2022, at 5:39 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office was proactively patrolling the area of State Road A and County Road 153.  During the patrol, the deputy located Jeremy Smith, 35, of Auxvasse, MO on foot.  Smith was a wanted fugitive.  Smith subsequently fled and a pursuit ensued.  The deputy was ultimately able to capture Smith and take him into custody.  Smith was wanted reference numerous Callaway County and Audrain County felony warrants for charges including Burglary.  Additionally, Smith was wanted by the Missouri Department of Corrections (MDOC) for state parole violations.  Smith was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to MDOC custody. 

Latisha Burchett, 33, of Fulton, MO

On May 31, 2022, at 2:28 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 211.  Subsequently, deputies located and arrested Latisha Burchett, 33, of Fulton, MO reference an outstanding warrant.  Burchett was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and other controlled substances.  Burchett was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, in addition to the previously issued warrant.  Burchett remains in-custody pending bond post.

Stephen Kitchen, 45, of Fulton, MO

On May 30, 2022, at 11:08 AM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies investigated a disturbance involving weapons in the area of County Road 123.  Stephen Kitchen, 45, of Fulton, MO was subsequently arrested for Felony Unlawful Use of a Weapon and other charges.  Kitchen was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and remains in-custody, without bond, per Court Order.

Gregory Stevens, 29, of Columbia, MO

On May 28, 2022, at 10:17 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy was proactively patrolling the State Road AA area.  During the patrol, the deputy stopped Gregory Stevens, 29, of Columbia, MO for a traffic violation.  A felony level controlled substance was subsequently located.  Stevens was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later released with summons for Court appearance.

Robert Salmons, 39, of Kingdom City, MO

On May 28, 2022, at 12:16 AM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the State Road M area.  During the course of the investigation, Robert Salmons, 39, of Kingdom City, MO was located and arrested reference a Callaway County warrant for Felony Non-Support.  Salmons was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later posted bond.

Phillip Dubuque, 46, of Creve Coeur, MO

On May 27, 2022, at 9:12 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 211.  Cocaine was subsequently recovered.  Phillip Dubuque, 46, of Creve Coeur, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

Damon Warfield, 53, of Fulton, MO

On May 24, 2022, at 11:20 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office was proactively patrolling the County Road 220 area.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy stopped Damon Warfield, 53, of Fulton, MO for a traffic violation.  Methamphetamine was subsequently discovered.  Warfield was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felony Tampering with Evidence.  Warfield was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and remains in-custody, without bond, per Court Order.

Brittney Waterman, 32, of Fulton, MO

On May 21, 2022, at 5:49 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 346.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located and arrested Brittney Waterman, 32, of Fulton, MO reference a Boone County warrant for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Waterman was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later posted bond.

Brandon Byrd, 37, of Fulton, MO

On May 20, 2022, at 2:52 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of State Road CC.  During the course of the investigation, methamphetamine was discovered.  Brandon Byrd, 37, of Fulton, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and remains in-custody pending bond post.

Vivien Peters, 47, of Fulton, MO

On May 18, 2022, at 11:55 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 408 and State Road C.  During the investigation, deputies located and arrested Vivien Peters, 47, of Fulton, MO.  Peters was wanted reference a Callaway County felony probation violation warrant (original charge - Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance).  Peters was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and remains in-custody pending bond post.

John Bradford, 52, of Pico Riveria, CA

On May 18, 2022, at 11:20 AM, a Callaway County K9 unit stopped John Bradford, 52, of Pico Riveria, CA for traffic violations along Interstate 70 near the State Road A/Z interchange.  During the course of the stop, methamphetamine and other felony level controlled substances were located.  John Bradford, 52, of Pico Riveria, CA was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Bradford was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later released with summons for Court appearance.

Eric Hollowell, 52, of Mokane, MO

On May 18, 2022, at 6:20 AM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies, assisted by the Fulton Police Department and MUSTANG drug task force, executed a drug related search warrant in the County Road 427.  The search warrant had been obtained as the result of an ongoing Sheriff's Office drug investigation.  Subsequently, felony level controlled substances and a stolen motorcycle were located.  Eric Hollowell, 52, of Mokane, MO was arrested for Felony Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st and Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Hollowell was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and then transferred to the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections for state parole violations.

Alonzo Peery, 56, of Columbia, MO

On May 17, 2022, at 7:06 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the 3000 block of Old Highway 40.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located and arrested Alonzo Peery, 56, of Columbia, MO reference a St. Charles County warrant for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Peery was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to custody of St. Charles County authorities.

Kayce McClure, 33, of Fulton, MO

On May 8, 2022, at 10:04 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy was proactively patrolling US Highway 54 area in Kingdom City.  During the patrol, the deputy stopped Kayce McClure, 33, of Fulton, MO for a traffic violation.  Sheriff's Office K9 Krieger responded to assist.  Subsequently, heroin was located.  McClure was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

Bryce Prange, 28, of Stockton, MO

On May 7, 2022, at 7:42 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy attempted to stop Bryce Prange, 28, of Stockton, MO for driving 101 miles per hour on Interstate 70 near Kingdom City.  Prange failed to stop and a vehicle pursuit ensued westbound on Interstate 70 into Boone County.  Prange subsequently exited Interstate 70 onto State Road Z.  Prange later stopped and was taken into custody.  Prange was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail for Felony Resisting Arrest, DWI and other charges.  Prange remains in-custody pending bond post.  The Boone County Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation.

Steven Simpson, 48, of Fulton, MO

On May 6, 2022, at 1:33 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy was proactively patrolling the area of County Road 247 and Old Highway 40.  During the patrol, the deputy stopped Steven Simpson, 48, of Fulton, MO for a traffic violation.  Simpson was wanted reference a United States federal warrant for Dangerous Drugs.  Additionally, methamphetamine was discovered.  Simpson was arrested and booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail for the federal drug warrant, in addition to Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Later, Simpson damaged jail property, thus was charged with Felony Damage to County Jail property.  Simpson remains in-custody, without bond, per the federal warrant.

Sarah Krautkremer, 52, of Hannibal, MO

On May 5, 2022, at 5:11 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 211.  During the course of the investigation, various felony level controlled substances were located. Sarah Krautkremer, 52, of Hannibal, MO was arrested, booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

Jesse Smith, 31, of Holts Summit, MO

On May 5, 2022, at 4:20 PM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy was proactively patrolling the State Road AA area.  During the course of the patrol, the deputy attempted to stop Jesse Smith, 31, of Holts Summit, MO for a traffic violation.  Smith subsequently fled, whereas Smith led deputies on a chase through the Tebbetts, Wainwright and (north) Jefferson City area.  On US Highway 54, just south of Holts Summit, Smith struck tire deflation devices that had been positioned by the Holts Summit Police Department.  Smith subsequently stopped and was taken into custody.  Smith was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail for Felony Resisting Arrest and remains in-custody, without bond, per Court Order.

Christy Schroer, 32, of Fulton, MO

On May 5, 2022, at 1:15 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of State Road C.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located and arrested Christy Schroer, 32, of Fulton, MO reference Callaway County felony probation warrants (original charge - Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Schroer was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later released, per the Court, for later appearance.

Shelby Martin, 28, of Fulton, MO

On May 3, 2022, at 5:26 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of State Road Z and State Road JJ.  During the course of the investigation, methamphetamine was discovered.  Shelby Martin, 28, of Fulton, MO was arrested, booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, and later released with summons for Court appearance.

 Russell Miller, 50, of Columbia, MO

On May 3, 2022, at 2:18 AM, a Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputy was proactively patrolling the area of County Road 259 and State Road WW.  During the proactive patrol, the deputy attempted to stop Russell Miller, 50, of Columbia, MO for a traffic violation.  Miller fled on westbound State Road WW and a pursuit ensued into Boone County.  The lengthy pursuit entered Columbia, traveling numerous roadways there.  In north Columbia, Miller stopped and fled on foot.  The deputy gave chase and captured Miller.  Miller was transported to the Callaway County Jail and is being held without bond, per Court Order, pending later Court bond review.  Additionally, Miller is being held reference numerous Boone County felony warrants, for which warrants were active when Miller fled from Callaway County deputies.  The Boone County Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation. 

Braxton Wolfe, 28, of Springfield, MO

On April 29, 2022, at 7:14 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the 3000 block of Gold Road.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located Braxton Wolfe, 28, of Springfield, MO.  Wolfe was found to be in possession of controlled substances packaged for sale.  Wolfe was arrested, booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail for Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance and remains in-custody pending bond post.

Charles Emery, 40, of Freeburg, IL

Laura Vaneeckhoute, 30, of Mascoutah, IL

On April 27, 2022, at 2:52 PM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies investigated a stealing offense on County Road 211.  Immediately after the initial call, a deputy located the suspect vehicle on westbound (south) US Highway 54 in Kingdom City.  As the deputy attempted the stop the vehicle, the driver, Charles Emery, 40, of Freeburg, IL fled.  Once entering Fulton on North Bluff Street, the deputy terminated the pursuit due to the proximity of the Fulton High School and the school day soon ending.  However, Emery continued to drive erratically further into Fulton and subsequently nearly struck the Fulton Police Department Chief head-on in the 1200 block of North Bluff Street.  Fulton Police Department officers then re-engaged Emery due to the obvious threat he continued to pose in the community.  As Emery entered State Road O from Wood Street, deputies again became involved in the second pursuit.  Ultimately, at the State Road F - US Highway 54 interchange, Emery's vehicle became disabled, at which time he fled on foot.  Emery was captured by deputies and officers along US Highway 54 just south of State Road F.  Emery was found to be in possession of several felony level controlled substances, included suspected Fentanyl.  Emery remains in-custody at the Callaway County Jail, without bond per Court Order, for felony charges including Resisting Arrest and Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  A vehicle passenger, Laura Vaneeckhoute, 30, of Mascoutah, IL was arrested reference a State of Illinois Felony drug warrant.  Vaneeckhoute was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later released to Illinois authorities.

 

Christopher Batson, 37, of Portland, MO

Linda Foster, 36, of Portland, MO

On April 27, 2022, at 6:05 AM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies, assisted by the Fulton Police Department and MUSTANG drug task force, executed a drug related search warrant in the State Road D area.  The search warrant had been obtained as the result of an ongoing Sheriff's Office drug investigation.  Methamphetamine and other felony level controlled substances, in addition to illegally possessed firearms, were located.  Christopher Batson, 37, of Portland, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felony Unlawful Use of a Weapon.  Batson was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later posted bond.  Linda Foster, 36, of Portland, MO was arrested for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail, and later posted bond.

Christy Comer, 35, of Columbia, MO

On April 26, 2022, at 1:35 AM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the area of State Road J and State Road F.  During the course of the investigation, deputies located and arrested Christy Comer, 35, of Columbia, MO reference an Audrain County felony warrant for fraud.  Additionally, Comer was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.  Comer was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and later transferred to the Audrain County Jail.

Montie Stiers, 54, of New Bloomfield, MO

On April 25, 2022, at 9:10 AM, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted an investigation in the County Road 398 area.  During the course of the investigation; deputies located and arrested Montie Stiers, 54, of New Bloomfield, MO reference Callaway County felony warrants for probation violation (original charges of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance).  Stiers was booked/processed at the Callaway County Jail and, on May 23, 2022, released by the Court for later appearance.
