Inmate Visitation

NCIC Inmate Communications, the vendor for Callaway County Jail inmate telephone and video visitation service, has been in business for 26 years, servicing the needs of more than 800 correctional facilities in the United States and seven other countries. NCIC services facilities of all types including Police Departments, County Jails, re-entry facilities and large prisons. Beyond just traditional Inmate Telephone Service, NCIC offers a broad range of inmate communications including Video Visitation and Inmate Messaging. NCIC has been able to maintain independent ownership, providing a distinct advantage in the industry.

Callaway County Jail inmates have telephone and video visitation opportunity during the normal Inmate Schedules. All inmate telephone calls are in a collect call manner.

Remote video visitations must be done via setting up an account on the vendor website -- ncic.com.  There is a fee associated with remote video visitation.

Video visitation (one visit per week) conducted at a kiosk in the lobby of the Sheriff's Office is free of charge, however, the visit must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance at ncic.com.

As a reminder, the jail staff is forbidden from passing messages to inmates, i.e. request to call a third party.

Inmate telephone and video visitation accommodations are a privilege, not a right! Thus, such privileges may be revoked by Callaway County Jail administration accordingly.
