Inmate Work Release
Inmate work release only occurs at the direction of the Court, upon the approval of jail administration after inmate employment verification and screening. Only inmates incarcerated for misdemeanors offenses, felony driving while intoxicated, or alternative sentencing court violations are subject to work release consideration -- as agreed upon by the Sheriff and the Court. Work release approved inmates shall pay a $40.00 daily jail fee and must maintain a positive or net zero balance with the jail administration. Should a work release inmate have a negative fee balance, they will be denied departure from the jail. Any work release violations will be reported to the Court and the inmate's work release approval will be suspended or revoked.
